the multiplayer online is also great fun and, unlike starcraft, isn't overrun with money map players - ensemble/robot wisely made separate playlists (deathmatch) which are essentially a "money"

not just good for a "console" rts in my opinion, halo wars is a good game (although i must recommend you have live), but as with any rts, the main thing keeping you coming back will be multiplayer.
