online play: haven't tried it yet, but i'm guessing b+ - a (there are online leaderboards so that's a nice perk)
so while this game may not be a great purchase for one that owns another ps3/360 version (especially if you don't care about online play), if you haven't, that's a different story.

there is no multiplayer mode unless you go online which kind of sucks.
seeing how there is no multiplayer and steering is non-existant, i strongly recommend you rent this game before you buy it.

I am overall disappointed in maddens loss of features; but online play should not be disappointing.
It is made clear which play you choose in multiplayer against a human on one local 360.
But this game has only Quick game and Franchise mode(If you have xbox live then Online PLay).
