i switched by wireless b netgear card to this one considering its wireless g and better...but it is not so.. from Circuitcity.com it connected immediately to my netgear wireless access point and now my kids are roaming the house doing im's and homework. from Buy.com the netgear 802.11g wireless notebook adapter installed easily on an xp machine nd performed perfectly the first time i used it. from Circuitcity.com highly recommend this product in conjunction with the netgear g router. from Buy.com another fine netgear product. from Circuitcity.com i bought a toshiba laptop and the netgear router and notebook adapter has been the best thing for it yet. from Circuitcity.com a nightmare to try to get it to work, even the customer support which were very helpful on the phone couldn't get it to work so i took it back and bought the netgear wireless and am glad that i did. from Circuitcity.com worked great except it kept freezing up my hp laptop, traded it in for a dlink and no problems now. from Circuitcity.com using the netgear 54-g wireless router along with this card allowed me to obtain blazing downloads on my laptop right through walls. from Circuitcity.com i was not able to connect to my smc wireless router until i performed a driver and firmware update on the wg511 from netgear's site. from Buy.com
