i can't compare it to the older versions of the game, but our whole family really enjoys this version.
it's one of those things that you wouldn't miss unless you've played older versions of the game, but a straight port of the gamecube games would have been much better.
this attempts to act as a surrogate for older nintendo controllers while playing virtual console games, but some new games allow you to use it in them as well.
it is easy enough that everyone in the family can play and have fun, but also challenging enough to hold you attention and keep the adults playing long after the kids have gone to bed.
my son is 4 and is very good at this game, definite fun for preschoolers on up to adults.
review: background???&n bsp;????&n bsp;?no more heroes is a mature-rated (17 ) action game exclusive to the wii from developer suda 51 and his company grasshopper manufacture.
the game is many things, but most of all it's an intelligent, mature-rated game, a genre the nintendo wii is very lacking in.
first of all, this is a mature title and it's a welcome change of pace from all the "casual" games out there on the wii.
excellent art direction, talented writing, cool music, and the best sword controls on the wii make it a must play if you are 17 or older.
this was the mature action game that every wii owner was waiting for, and while it may be quite what anyone expected, it is still one of the more solid and original action games available.
i'm not sure if an older child would like this game, the higher levels didn't get harder, it was kind of repetitive, but for a younger child this was great.
great game which i'd recommend to anyone with young kids, but also with some options to keep it interesting for older kids (such as collecting all items to get a badge).
no, it's not the most educational, and older kids will probably breeze through it, but this is the only game i've come across that is good for preschool age kids (and younger).
i would recommend it as a fun game for the 3-5 crowd, it is way too simple for older kids.
there's also an adult assistance feature, which lets you take a second wii remote, and perform the same motion as your child may be doing, which is also very helpful, because some motions are quite
it's a good game....appropriate for kids, but fun for adults too.
if you are looking for a game that's fun for adults but suitable for kids to play or watch, this is definitely it.
i would recommend it to anyone looking for a cute family game for children and adults.
it is nice because i would imagine a beginner-level gamer or a younger player would be able to get through the game easily, but there are lots of extras for adult or more serious gamers to go back
i got this game for my 5 yr old son for christmas and he is playing it everyday almost non stop .great game for kids and adults
older kids and adults will probably find this game too easy with too much of the same stuff, but my little ones love it and would play it for hours if i let them.
as an adult the game levels were a bit repetitive since you basically fight the same phantoms level after level.
this game is for 10 years and older.
in solo mode - may be difficult for little ones to understand some things but as long as an older helper is available the game is great!
i'm an adult and i found this game to be a total blast.
she loves it, but there are things to read on the screen, so someone older does need to be there at times to keep it going.
i gave this games 5 stars but it is just for younger kids (4-8), older kids will become bored fast.
i would imagine that an older child would exhaust the 'fun' of this game rather quickly, so a younger age range would be appropriate.
there have been some games she enjoys, like the classic bowling and tennis, but most of the games she has a hard time with - like mario kart wii and super smash bros (both awesome games for older
i also find that she seems to equally enjoy the animal crossing wii game we bought for our older daughter.
this makes it a perfect family game where younger children can play alongside an adult without experiencing much frustration.
the boys can do all of the things required to move the game along, though it does take critical thinking, so sometimes coaching is needed from an adult.
invincibility and artifact detectors) make this game a little more fun for little people (6-year-olds) and adults that don't much care for dying all the time, losing your money, or not being able to
it's creative enough not to get repetitive and boring, but simple enough to start playing immediately and with kids or adults.
the story segments are humorous/cute even to adults.
i play is on my wii i love me my 2 close friend like itany like see how smart they r it good game young & older allike it know brainer lol just have fun
i have older children and it is a game that they don't mind playing with their parents.
i feel it keeps me thinking everyday, which means i won't lose my mind when i get older!sometimes it is frustrating, but it had 3 levels and many different games to play.
i like to test my older sister and see who is smarter.
great time for kids and adults alike.
this is a great game for kids and adults a like, pretty much anyone who likes pinball machines will love this game.
the adults seem to like it even more because we used to have to stuff quarters in the machine to play.
listening to the ball roll down the table surface (especially in older tables without background music) really brings some life into the game.
if you like some of the older williams games this title is a must have.
the older machines actually feel like older pinball machines...
we are older and just don't have the rythem that the kids have today.
it was purchased on a whim for our new wii thinking that maybe it would motivate us adults to actually get up off the couch.
(i played an older version of ddr and it was all songs i didnt know and i didnt like that!) i really do enjoy the songs that are on the game, but some are too slow and awkward to dance to.
i am one of the older folks who bought a wii because it looked like fun and there were plenty of games that i could do.
the 6 yr old who desperately tries to keep up with her older sister always gets d's - because the game is made for 10+ yrs old and her legs cannot even reach all the sensors.
my 6 year-old daughter definitely gets more into it than we adults, so i'd definitely recommend if you have kids to play it.
they never let the adults have a change to play.
i rated it a 3 for average fun for adults and an over all 4 because i do think kids will like this game.
it is a great game for kids and adults alike...
this game is not a great game for older people, even in a group setting...however if you have smaller children, it's great!
this is one of the only games that my entire family likes(including the adults) it reminds me of the game jenga.
it says a lot when a game serves the entertainment needs of children and adults.
as adults we've stayed very entertained with it as well.
grandkids from 5 yrs to adults have really enjoyed the game....and adults have changed their minds about a video game system due to boom blox.
it gives hours of fun and laughs even for us older people.
i highly recommend this game for anyone with a young daughter, but doubt older children would be highly entertained.
because the game is so simple that they don't need adult supervision to play the game!
this is a good game for her age and even a little younger, but i think kids much older than her age would get bored real quick.
i think that this game would be very good for someone a little bit older who plays on the wii by themself.
an older child would master this fairly quickly, but for the 4-6 year old its super.
what's great about it:?everything what's not so great:?nothing "this game is very violent i recemend these games for older than 10
it brings everything back from the older version.
adults can enjoy playing this game while reminiscing over the old ninendo characters some of us grew up with.
many new charachters however some older charachters i used are no longer there like roy.
one child is older, so it's a game that they are always able to agree on when picking something to play together.
it is a great game, though and would be wonderful for an older child.
the best thing is that we all can play it 2 adults, a 6 year old and a 4 year old.
some of it's hard to find, but us adults have always found everything.
it proved to be quite a challenge even for the adults to find everything.
man oh man...my son likes to find things in puzzles (we subscribe to highlights and have all the i spy books) but man, this one is difficult even for some adults.
we had a party, and it was a great party game for adults.
it's also decent fun for adults too and makes a pretty decent "party" game.
this game is great for children as well as adults, filled with fun minigames.it has great humor and you get to design your own rabbid.the graphics are awesome and the game really uses the wii remote
we had stages that we were able to help a 4 yr old through but mainly the adults were playing and loving this game.
my adult son introduced this game to me and i laughed so much playing this game.
it's a great game for adult child interaction.
this game is addicting and kids and adults will both love it.
the game itself is fun to play and provides lots of entertainment for both kids and adults.
adults, probably not so much.
i have very much enjoyed this game, the characters emote rather than talk and it makes it good for adults as well as kids, there is a bit of a learning curve but then it goes quicker.
the adults in the house enjoy it too!
using theme music from the original batman movies, and the cheesy-shtick from the even older batman television series, travelers tale has put together a fun game that will keep you entertained for
i would recommend this game to anyone with little kids or older kids alike.
his same age buddies like it as well as do some older kids that have come around.
this is ideal for toddlers, but may get repetitive or boring for kids older than 7-8.
the only negative i have as an adult is listening to diego talk, and talk, and talk.....
the games allow an adult to assist if needed using another controller.
graphics are incredible and the mix of classic characters and new ones is sure to please both new fans of the game and the older guys like myself who long for the days of classic nintendo.
in a nod to older players who have lives, families and jobs, the game doesn't make you start from square one when you lose a match (or dozens of matches).
this game is for adults, teens, and children.
they've done an excellent job of tying this to the original so us older nerds can appreciate that...but it's also a lot of fun with the new things added as well.
