another aspect i love about this game is the dialogue.
not recommended for people who like voice-acting, of which this game has none.
it's an aesthetically gorgeous game but after the first couple hours of hitting a repeatedly to get through all the dialogue i wanted to gouge my eyes out with a spoon.
the graphics are beautiful and the game play is unique and fun at first but the game soon got tedious and repetitive due to the controls and on screen dialogue.
cons: no voice overs.
this game is so whacky in its storyline and dialogue that it must have come from the minds of the great minds at ubisoft.
the voice work is another nice surprise, and is much better than initial trailers made it out to be.
it's dialogue, story, graphics and even some of the gameplay is very original.
some of the dialog is funny, but travis has a terrible voice actor and his delivery is always off.
the sound is pretty good in voice acting terms but not great music-wise.
sure i guess voice chat might be cool (haven't done it myself.) but then again other folks talking to me can be a pain in the butt.
only one problem with game - no voice chat.
the sound is the best ever from sound effects, to the greatest soundtrack in gaming history (its the same as medal of honor: vanguard but with a couple of added songs that are awsome), and the
until, they decide to allow voice chat the online games just aren't going to be up to par.
i ordered this and the day it came i popped it in and was playing online with in 5 min this game doesnt use friend codes instead it uses the ea nations services using its own servers and not
a lot of folks are complaining that there's no voice chat, but this is (in part) a kid's game - 9 year-olds across the country don't need to hear me cussing like a sailor whenever i fall off the track
i thought the lack of voice-chat would be painful, but i don't really miss it.
too me, silence is by far better than having voice enabled online gaming.
no voice chat.
the characters voices and noises are limited, and get annoying real fast.
i love the voices, love the graphics, love the gameplay and its also got the old school touch but definately bringing it up to the 2009 standards of gaming.
on the other hand the characters voices are absolutely hilarious.
when you complete the challenges for each character, you only get access to audio files of their voice actors.
they also have voices for the characters that are over-exaggerated and funny to listen to.
old favorites return with superb animation and great voicework that really brings out their wacky personalities.
the only female characters are super blonde with high pitched voices.
a good one piece game and kudos to the funi va's for their voices.
pros: many different things to dolikeable well-voiced characterstwo-player fighter modegood for kids cons: can be repetativeitem gathering can feel like a chore.
not only does this mean better voice acting, but the game is intact from it's original japanese presentation, with characters, scenes, and references that the english dub won't cover for another 100+
bandai namco, and also funimation for providing its current cast of voice actors, bring us an almost-fully unedited game featuring characters we've seen so far here in america, and some we have yet
-voice acting is great
players of this game will have to put up with either endless, autonomous fighting or a fairly boring story mode that contains almost no dialogue.
thanks to nintendo's tight lock on online playablity (to protect children), there is no voice chat or anyway to communicate with people you fight against online...
sadly, not all is well with the sound, because some characters' voice acting is downright horribly cringe-worthy.
the graphics and voice acting are both very good, and the music is absolutely incredible.
why are they terrible - there is no dialogue, and you cannot discern what the hell is going on.
game is great, voice acting is terrible.
it has terrible voice acting and even worse graphics, like the originals.
it's pretty much just like the arcades--with bad graphics, bad voice acting (so bad that it's so good and hilarious), and just a great time--minus all the quarters that you put in the machines.
house of the dead 2 has n64 graphics and horrible voice-overs but is still really fun to play with friends.
there's a whole lot more to umbrella chronicles, which also boasts better graphics and voice acting (except for the 8yo girl who voices a grown woman of course).
i'm also disappointed that there are very few in-game voices (the lego characters don't speak their lines).
i find the animators' ability to retell lucas' stories without any dialogue from any characters, remarkable.
more options for voice change or something.
sound/music: no real voice acting to speak of save metroid-style grunts and yells from various characters but the music of course faithfully recreates the film's soundtracks.
the omly downfall, that i saw, was no voice ating.
pros: excellent game play, story, graphics, voice acting, music, and sound effects.
i love the dialogue between the characters.
he was more than willing to participate for new voice clips in the game (as you will learn by unlocking the sean connery bonus trailer).
sean is to be congratulated for lending his voice and likeness to this game.
this time around, they've went back to the basics here with from russia with love, based on the classic bond film of the same name, with none other than the original bond, sean connery, lending his
the voices; the characters are dead on the film.
plus the voice acting and cut scenes are great.
the voice acting is really well done by the cast of the anime, withichigo and yoruichi being two of my standouts.
however, these "cutscenes" are actually just a single still image with character voiceovers.
it's fun to unlock extra voices to hear characters talk about (or bash) the wii.
also, look up the japanese voice actors playing their respective parts on youtube.
the voices aren't that bad either.
the music is pleasant, and the "voices" of the sims is adorable.
the game is downright adorable- the voices, the characters, and the buildings.
pros: an almost perfect cast of characters that is unmatched by any fighting game out there, solid game play without any lag issues, level editor, amazing story mode put together impressively even
is that online does not support voice chat.
yes you can play random people online but it feels like your playing the cpu because user names dont show up nor is there any voicechat support.
it was great playing the classics with all the original sounds and voices.
event the original sound effects from each machine have been carefully reproduced and sounds exactly like they did on the actual machine, down to the early voice synthesis technology built into
the one thing that may have been different is the sound of rudy's voice.
for one, the musical maestro who teaches you everything is extremely annoying, and someone who observed me play this game commented that he sounded like he was speaking gibberish with mario's voice.
try doing a barbershop quartet using only voices.
most reviewers who are actually trained musicians have praised this game, and rightly so -- don't listen to the voices online who don't understand the point.
