I have 2 Live! Cam Optia Pro VF0380 webcams. from Amazon.com I found out that the Creative LIVE! CAM OPTIA PRO is only compatible with Windows. from Amazon.com this is a great webcam! i was looking for a webcam that would work with my Powerbook (MAC) and was getting disappointed with the resolution of the cameras i was finding. This cam works great, did not have to install any software. from Amazon.com This Web Cam was super easy to install and use. I used the Skype software and I was upand running in no time having video conferences with my kids grandparents. from Amazon.com the camera works plug-and-play both with windows xp and with ubuntu 8.10 intrepid (tested it with skype), so no installation is required. from Amazon.com the video quality is excellent, and the built in mic provides clear sound on the other end.i also like the mount, it fits any width screen from my desktop pc to my laptop. from Newegg.com i also like the mount, it fits my thicker lcd desktop monitor and my laptop screen. from Amazon.com the mount is designed so that it works both with thin laptop lcds and with thicker desktop lcds, but it's not very stable on laptops, in that it tends to fall off if i move /shake my laptop. from Amazon.com it is not compatible with the mac osx operating system itself. from Amazon.com this web cam was super easy to install and use. from Amazon.com
