At first everything seemed fine (except the absolute terrible picture quality - more on that later). However once I began using it through the next couple of minutes after installing I started getting all these really odd white lines down the middle of the picture (as demonstrated in the picture in the link). When I did get it working (off & on, it was a battle) the picture quality was absolutely disgusting for a Logitech webcam with a Carl Zeiss lens. The Logitech Quickcam Pro is great. from Amazon.com Picture in relatively low light is what I would consider excellent. Movement of hand in front of camera has some ghosting. My problems relate to the microphone which I could not get to work after configuring in both Logitech Audo Wizard and Windows Audio settings. Audio was available when I used an old microphone (one more than 6 years old.) My other problem was the inability to install the program on my desktop after two tries including uninstalling the partially installed program. from Amazon.com I bought 2, one for me and one for my daughter-in-law, so I could watch my baby grandaughter throughout the Summer months while we are up north.
