I bought this webcam to use with Live Messenger. It works great for the first ten minutes and then it starts freezing. from Buy.com ProsInexpensive, easy to install, fun extra features, includes a microphone, works with Windows Vista. The pictures are so clear. from Dell.com their tech support has new drivers but, if you try and use those it writes a value to your registry to disable the video from the camera . the updates pop up every time you turn on the computer msconfig/regedit doesnt help... the drivers and software do install but without video how dare they call it a camera Other Thoughts: for the same price you can buy a newer one shame on logitech for making so much of a bad product. havent tried it with vista maybe they made the drivers exclusively for vista who knows works with my linux machine as far as linux goes the xp drivers are for the mic only. from Newegg.com I'm a Mac user and I had read that the Quickcam Messenger would work on my Mac.
