I am using this camera with Blue Iris security software which also monitors 5 other cameras. Making a camera work over a network can be somewhat complex. Making it work over the Internet can be very complex. from Pricegrabber.com Got the dcs-3220 a couple of days ago and must say its a real nice camera for the right price. Installation is a snap and we had great quality images both on the stream and snapshot features. from Tigerdirect.com Camera and the web interface work well. But, I had problems with the management software. D-Link said to downlowd v3.20. That worked the first time. from Amazon.com Pros: Worked great out of the box. Had very little trouble setting up the camera and to have it connect to the IP Surveillance Software. There is a newer version on D-Links website (3.1.0.0) Contains a lot of bug fixes and stability issues. Must know some html if you want to use a custom web page to view only the picture instead of the D-link web page built into the camera. The only perk was the night-vision was decent - maybe good if you're ONLY watching for large objects moving. Okay on the DCS-3220, I'm very happy with it. The 10/100 is a very good feature of the product. from Amazon.com Sending images via e-mail on motion alert was hit and miss as the images were partially tranmitted resulting in only 20% of the picture being sent as an e-mail attachment. Couldn't even get FTP to work. And when I called D-LInk support, they had very few people knowledgeable about these cameras. This Webcam only works in IE and not Firefox or a Mac. from Newegg.com
