Contrary to what the others here say, it DOES work with vista. But like most webcams I've used, you have to install the driver BEFORE plugging in the webcam. RTFM! from Buy.com The webcam works fine with Windows, but since I'm using linux as my main OS, I'm deducting some points for this reason. Companies should DO an effort to cover the drivers for every OS the consumer chooses to use. from Buy.com You know what they say about assuming anything! I use it on top of my LCD monitor on my desktop. I already have speakers and I don't want to use a silly looking headset to talk on the webcam.
