Pros: Inexpensive at the time, works well, decent resolution at the time Cons: None, really - just your average web cam (which is a con nowadays!) The Bottom Line: You can still find cameras like the Instant.? There's no real reason to pick this one up over another in this price range. from Shopping.com It is a decent webcam, but not the quality you would typically expect from a Creative product. You can increase the resolution in the webcam, but the picture gets a little grainy. from Buy.com However, my disappointment came in when I tried to use it on my new PC with Windows Vista. It is not Vista certified. Creative is not going to develop a new driver for Vista. Perhaps this is a low-end product line. from Buy.com Camera is not compatible with Vista and Creative does not have plans (from my research) to provide drivers updates. Check your system before you buy. from Buy.com I own this webcam for more than 2 weeks now... The video quality is very good in decent light (the image sharpness can be manually adjusted). To use with Windows Vista just plug the camera in any available USB port and , when prompted, just insert the Creative Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. I didn't tried the Bundled Games yet and I am NOT sure that will work on Vista... from Buy.com Hi, I love the result of this webcam. But the only disaponted thing for this webcam is, it is not having Vista drivers. And Creative people are not going to write his drivers for Visa. Low price a plus from Buy.com The other I'll keep for when I'm traveling to stay in touch with the family. The set up was easy and I'm surprised by the image quality. I have a built in webcam in my laptop and I would have to argue that the Creative cam performed just as well, if not better than my built in one when used in the same room. The webcam performed well when adjusting to the light. from Buy.com It should be noted that their are NO drivers for Windows Vista 32 or 64 bit and according to Creative's web site, there are no plans to ever do so. I was able to get the camera to work with XP drivers but none of the software that came with the camera works. from Buy.com There are much better available, avoid this "Creative Webcam" unless you are getting it cheap and are only installing it on an XP PC.
