i have a dell computer running xp and the microsoft camera works flawlessly with this configuratiion.
fits snug on the top of my dell 2407wfp and stays in place.
this cam works as a charm , i have a dell winxp sp2 machine and after reading some bad reviews about the software , was skeptical, but installation was not much of a hassle.
meanwhile, i am still troubleshooting the nx-6000 which refused to run on my windows 7 rc and (thnx to bloated software) is having install issues on my dell mini.

i did a standard install on a dell 630 laptop and it took about 15 minutes for the actual install and downloading of the latest drivers.
i compared it side by side with the built in webcam on a 2008 dell xps notebook, both set to the same resolution and on the default settings.

it also fits a lot snugger on my dell 19 inch lcd monitor than did the logitech.
but dell assisted with that.
