Best Microsoft Webcams for Cost

i already have a camera on my computer but i didn't realize how bad it was until i used the microsoft one.

i settled for the microsoft web cam and it has worked perfectly for my intended perpose which is video phone calls using skype.

the microsoft lifecam vx-5000 is a great product.

it is important for the software to be installed first, and microsoft even has a sticker over the usb plug.

the "microsoft lifecam vx-55000" is a great little webcam that installs fairly quickly (on my vista laptop pc) and provides good video and audio quality.

you can install the drivers included with the cd, but i recommend that you install the latest ones from the microsoft website (currently at v2.04).

also, there are more downloads available from microsoft like extra masks and avatars and landscapes.

i kind of like a little more damp on the wheel, but it seems microsoft is reducing the damp on wheel for recent products.

mouse notebook wireless 6000 ---- 3 stars (i've used the logitec v450 for a while, and besides its bigger size, its much more confortable for a man's hand, than the tiny microsoft mouse.)

i read a number of product review of webcams before making my selection of microsoft lifecam vx-7000.

but if you want something better, you can get it for free from microsoft.

the lifecam 2.0 software available from www.microsoft.com/hardware is simply amazing.

other thoughts: the microsoft drivers and software are infinitely better behaved than the logitech software.
