WASHER TYPE
Depending on the volume of laundry you'll be doing and your budget, all-in-one units can be a great way to save space and time. These units combine the functionality of a washer and dryer into one unit, and while they will not be as fast or efficient as a conventional washer and dryer combo, they might be the right solution if you're short on space.
LOAD TYPE
If you decide to go for a traditional washer/dryer combo, remember that front-load machines can be stacked for greater economy of space. However, top-loading machines will usually be a little cheaper, so consider your price range. You may find that a smaller top loader is a better solution than a pricey front-loader.
