I bought a Whirlpool LHW0050PQ washer three years ago. Recently it began to act strangely. from Amazon.com A little over 2 1/2 years ago, I purchased a brand new front loading Whirlpool washing machine (Whirlpool LHW0050PQ) with stacking dryer. About a month ago, it stopped working (the warranty for the machine was 1 year, so it is no longer covered). from Amazon.com In 18 months we have made one warranty claim on this washer and another on the matching stackable Dryer (LEW0050PQ). The washer failed because of a defective power switch. from Amazon.com Pros: Compact size, good features, reliable, SILENT and attractive.
