Pros: Well I thought because it was a GE it would last at least ten years. Cons: It lasted a grand total of one year and ten months. from Shopping.com This review comes from a mom who needs a good washer MORE than amost anything you can think of. Chocolate may be your comfort food -- my comfort (and sanity) comes from clean clothes and the humming, whirling sound in my laundry room. from Sears.com It also has some other annoying sounds, like the metal clank of an electric mechanism during the wash-rinse-spin cycles. Wave action? Yes it IS quiet and the clothes get clean, but you expect clean clothes! Articles with drawstrings like hoodies, womens string undies, and aprons tend to get wrapped up in knots around the agitator along with other clothes that get caught in the long thin lengths of cloth. from Sears.com My washer was fine and yes it does a big capacity. I bought the washer in March and at the end of the return for a full refund date, the next day to be exact, my washer stopped agitating and spinning. from Sears.com I really like this washer!! purchased in jan 2007 and does a great job..the only draw back is when the washer finishes filling up and the lid is not down it'll run through all the cycles..thus having to start all over again!! from Sears.com I was pleasantly surprised with this washer once I used it.
