perfect for kids!
kids (and grown-ups) loved the farm shapes.
makes perfect waffles everytime, and i make waffles about 2 times a week for the kids so it will get a lot of use.
this is a kid pleaser :-)
my kids would eat waffles every morning if i let them.
i got this belgian waffle iron from my kids for christmas (2008), and so far i love it.
my kids love using the timer and flipping over the waffle to start the process they feel like they are really helping and the timer let's me know when i have a perfectly crisp waffle.
i was hesitant about this purchase because i thought the waffle maker would be complicated and too difficult for my kids to use.
very easy to use and the kids love it.
i actually just make large batches of batter and leave it in a pitcher in the fridge so the kids can make their own waffles as snacks, etc.
i have owned two other waffle makers prior to this one and i probably will end up willing this one to my kids when i pass on.
the first week i had it, we had waffles for dinner almost every night for a week, trying out recipes we thought our kids and the grandkids would like.
it's great because the kids think it's fun to use and there is no guess work on the length of cooking time.
my teenage kids love it, too.
after a few times even your kids will be able to make a perfect waffle.
my kids love it.
i'm glad i tried this and my kids are thrilled to have something other than eggo waffles.
if you have kids they will remember these waffles for the rest of their lives...you can probably pass this machine on to them!
the quality is good ,the waffles turn out great, my kids love the boat shaped waffles, we ate waffles 3 times this week.thanks for a nice machine.
this is a great waffle maker....my kids love them for breakfast or fill with ice cream for dessert!
i took the waffle maker into work last week (i'm a teacher) for a special treat for the kids.
i have 4 kids that love it when i cook for them.
purchased as gift for our nephew who reports it works great - he has made breakfast waffles for his family and friends many times since the purchase and it works perfectly every time.
the waffles are done very quickly compared to my old iron which lets me feed my five kids very quickly.
i love making pancakes and waffles for my kids i just hate the skillet version.
comes with various recipes and i like how the "regular" recipe is large..made enough batter to keep in a lidded pitcher for days and the kids were able to make themselves waffle snacks any time they
the thought of disappointed kids faces (or grown up for that matter) on a cold winters morning when the waffle maker goes kaput - no bueno!!!!
my kids like to help with the cooking and it is easy to know when it is done!
the size of the waffle is good enough for one person, or divided in 2-4 parts, for kids.
i even added a little flax seeds and wheat bran to the mix and my kids never noticed!!!
the kids love them too, especially with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
it cooks evenly my kids love them!
13 minutes later, i crashed into my garage, dove out the window, as my wife yelled "take one of the kids!".
my kids love this machine!
even kids can help making these with the use of a silicone/heat-resistant plastic spatula.
my only advice to anyone buying this is to be absolutely sure to keep the kids at bay.
the fact that is makes three separate waffles at a time is a delight for my kids who can all be served at the same time!
after refusing to start my kids off with processed circle waffles any more, i invested in this little breakfast dream machine.
my adult kids ate them before i told them they were gluten free.
i wanted a "heart" waffle maker because the kids had loved the ones we got on vacation.i did some research and this waffle maker has gotten good reviews from a few sites.
safety note: probably not a great appliance for kids to use alone, as the top and bottom both get very hot and the top swings free when the lid is open.
they aren't kidding when they say 90 seconds between waffles on softer setting.
the hearts break apart easily, would be great for small kids when you want a smaller portion.
i don't understand how mom of six could have used this waffle iron to feed her kids and have a chance to eat breakfast herself before noon.
