this waffle iron is a no mess, no fuss appliance.
my objection to making them was the difficulty in cleaning the waffle iron afterwards.

good, but honestly just took too long to prepare from scratch, and too much mess for a couple waffles, even really good ones.
so, i spread an aluminim foil under the iron to aviod any spills on the units base to save my cleaning time.
