this is easy to clean, makes a nice toasty brown waffle, and is totally non-stick.

it's a solid product with the easiest cleanup i've experienced in wafflers, and i've tried a few.

when using any waffle iron, you occasionally have overflow, and this unit has many crevices which catch the overflow and make cleaning a little difficult.

it takes a little getting used to--pouring the right amount of batter, so that it won't over flow, finding just the right browning level, and properly cleaning it, so there's no residue cooked batter

there is virtually no clean-up (it can be wiped with a damp paper towel) and well worth the cost.

over spills can be trickey to clean up but well worth it.
