The VN-4100pc was given to our not-for-profit. We will find use for it, but it has serious problems. from Amazon.com An external mic plugs in very easily. The only thing I would have like to see added was a USB port or other way to hook up this recorder to my computer. I found the instructions difficult to understand. The voice replay is not as clear as I thought it would be for a digital product.
