I brought the WS-311M Digital voice recorder for both work and school. For work, I travel a lot and work in conditions that it would be better to record my notes instead written them down on a piece of paper. from Amazon.com I purchased the Olympus WS-311M to replay a digital RCA voice recorded purchased from Wal-Mart. I am a photo-journalist, so I need something dependable, which was NOT the RCA voice recorder. from Amazon.com Summary: I used the WS-311M to record a conference speaker and it worked nicely, picking up all the conversation from different parts of the room.
