Best Sony Voice Recorders and Transcribers for Music

i have had been using the sony mzm200 professional portable hi md recorder for the past year for digital recording of meetings and lectures.

i am glad that sony added the automatic power off when stopped, i have another digital recorder that does't have a power button, and this is a battery saver.

the icdux70 records directly to the internal memory which can be easily read and written to by any computer that has usb just like a flash card (sony only advertises compatibility with windows and

the files are a lot easier to work with than sony hd minidiscs (what i used to use for this).

after having a sony micro cassette recorder for years, i realized i rarely used the thing because the tape hiss was so bad.

i always trust the sony sound quality and this is no exception.

i have run mine on an xp-pro machine, and checked to see that there was a sony update for vista 64-bit compatibility, which downloaded and installed just fine.
