i don't care who makes it as long as it is fun, so this is in no way bashing or favoring a product based on the manufacturer.
i don't believe it's a revolutionary product that will blow away all other competitors.
a lot of thought went into the product and its design and it shows.
although i don't have a lot of time to play it right now, i've really enjoyed this product.
in summation, this is a phenomenal product, nintendo is opening doors with the wii and it really is bringing fun back into the living room.
i would highly recommend the product for kids, as long as they keep an eye on where they leave it!!!
i won't keep rambling due to the great amount of reviews on the ds on here, but it's portable, loads of fun and a nicely made product.
i recommend this product to anyone that loves the vivid green color and just nintendo itself!
some of us just want a product that comes in a different color!
my die-hard sony psp son, assisted my husband with the initial workings of this product and gave his dad the pros and cons.
pros: the touch pad is great, so is the ability to play gba games
sports, family, rpg, etc.
there are sports games, star wars games, harry potter games, mario and kirby games, rpgs....we can always find something for everybody in the family.
it has some amazing rpgs, but dont expect it to come out with better games that it already has.
if there is credit to be had on the ps2 side of things, it's that of the grand theft auto franchise, the gran turismo franchise, and a couple of good rpgs like suikoden and zenosaga...
most of you probably already have a dvd player, but if you don t and want a cheap one, this is a con.cons:it does not have a lot of online games, at least for now.it only has a few rpgs at the moment
pros: experience, first party games, hardware
pros: cheap, game selection, gameboy advance compatibility
pros: pure game console
pros: easy handheld.an odd few good games.easy memory-card managing.good console colors.
review: the game cube is a unique product witch in fun to use play take around and starts fun at good partie...
for luigi and mario rpg2 and castlevania touchscreen usage is pitiful and gimmicky at best or non existant.
the clamshell format is good as usual because it effectively protects the outer screen (which i worry about for the psp).
pros: great games.
(edited april 27th by galvatron2k1) nintendo has created an innovative handheld product that improves on the gameboy advance sp technology by adding dual screens, one of which is a touch screen.
the jury is still out on the stylus (what is a stylus doing in a gaming system?), but the whole system has promise.
pros: great 4-player games, uhhhh....
pros: some excellent games
pros: home to some of the greatest games ever; multiplayer bliss
pros: -inexpensive, some really fun games, no load times
pros: has great fps and zelda games
pros: games, controller, fun.
pros: great game selection; easy to learn
pros: the most famous games ever put out are available for this system and good graphics.
pros: fun for the whole family, still a great gaming platform
pros: everything, classic games
