What's great about it:?The new price $99 What's not so great:?Good games are slowly coming to a hault "5 or so years ago the system would of been the best system to buy. I love the playstation 2. Its easy to transport, I play it on the road with a portable tv and never skips when going down bummpy roads.

When I went on vacation I accidentally left it on and it fried. After five good years of service, it finally died. I had to buy a replacement and so I bought the slimmer version. It works just as well as the other one did and takes up a lot less space on my TV stand.
What's great about it:?Huge game catalog, Backwords compatable with PS1, New Slim Design What's not so great:?No on/off switch to remove from stand-by you must unplug system "I am a huge Xbox Fan and have both the 360 and The original but i still truly prefer the Playstation 2 for all my single player games. The amount of quality games that came out for this system is staggering.
What's great about it:?The price and the games What's not so great:?the memory cards "The ps2 console is a great console which can play all the classic and new ps2 games that are out there. For $99.99 this system is definitely worth buying if you still want to play ps2 games. This system is the slimmer version of the original ps2, which I kind of prefer the original design over the new design but it will save a lot more space. The only downfall on the ps2 is that you still need to use memory cards to save the game data.
What's great about it:?Has to many games to count, many are 5 star ones What's not so great:?nothing really bad "What hasen't been said about his console, it has a ton of games, may great ones, it is very durable, it won't break anytime soon, the only problem, sony has a ten year deal on all of its consoles, and the ps2s is almost up, sooooo, it won't be getting any good game to soon
What's great about it:?everything What's not so great:?buying seperate memory card is a bit annoying if you are used to hard drives now "out of all the consoles i have had, the playstation 2 has the most games that i enjoy, and they are still making games for ps2. if you are big into rpg games the playstation 2 is the only way to go at this time until playstation 3 gets a more established base set on the market, and if xbox 360 follows in the origional xbox's steps it will be seriously lacking rpg games.
