The graphics are outstanding, the online play is great, and the selection of games are fantastic.
What's great about it:?Lowest price of any new gen. gaming machine What's not so great:?lacks many features needed for full experience "We bought this for our son and within a week found out we needed to buy rechargeable batteries, wireless network adapter, and a hard drive in order to be able to use everything that the xbox360 "offered". replacing batteries every other day and running an ethernet wire through the house were just not options.

What's great about it:?comes w/ wireless remote, games, and memory card What's not so great:?have 2 buy a hard drive "Its cool that the xbox arcade comes with a wireless remote finally because in the beginning it came with w/ a wired remote. The down side about it is that it doesn't have a hard drive on it, even though the memory card provides portability to saving your game it doesn't hold much.
I ordered this on September 30, 2009 and got it on October 2, 2009. I needed to replace my old 360 due to an E73 message. I saw that I could potentially get a Jasper if I ordered this unit, but I mainly chose this one because it comes with the free games and memory.
The newer Xbox 360 arcade models that began production late 2008 and continuing now are built with a jasper chip inside that will keep the system much cooler and seem to have almost eliminate the possibility of a Red Ring Of Death. (RROD)
+ Cheapest current gen system on the market + Huge library of great games (many of which can be had for cheap these days) + 6 (5 arcade + Sega Tennis) free games, all of which are good enough in their own right + Can be upgraded easily (Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive, HDMI Cable 6FT: 1.3a Category 2(Full 1080P Capable)(Compatible with Xbox 360 & PS3), Xbox 360 12 Month Live Gold Card, Xbox 360 Wireless Headset, etc) to give the full premium experience if you decide you want it eventually

Received mine today (07/01/09 Arcade version) from Amazon, checked the amp specs and it is definitely a Falcon. I think they sold all Falcon units since I just checked the product on Amazon and it is no longer available directly from them.
