My 7 1/2 year old bought this with a gift card. I discouraged her because it said it was for age 4 and up and I thought she was too old for Strawberry Shortcake. She just loves it.
My 5yr old recieved this for christmas. she is pretty well coordinated also. I was not familiar with dance revolution at all, although i know of the dance "mats" that are out there. So here is what happens, you lie this mat on the floor , plug it in, all easy.
I love it. I have a 6 year old, and she loves to dance, so I thought this would be a great way for her to stay in shape, and have fun!
We're huge Strawberry Shortcake fans, so I picked this up as an impulse Christmas buy (didn't read reviews first). I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was terribly disappointed in it.
We received the original Dance, Dance Revolution when my daughter was around 5 and it was way too hard for her. She loved the idea but got too frustrasted.
I purchased this for my daughter who loves strawberry shortcake thinking not only would this help teach her some dance steps, but she could do it along with strawberry shortcake and to her music. WRONG!
but, it's far more little kid friendly.
unreliable and not built to withstand a 4 year old girl???
the poor kid ended up running out of the room in tears, pleading "mom, please make santa take this back!
