im not saying any other console provide this, because pretty much all do, but whats special about the ps2 and any sony product is the quality and value that lies within it.the picture is top notch.

choose from and you can also watch dvds..i always stick to sony products..i also have a psp and plan on gettin a ps3 this summer..but if your lookin for a good system for the price...the ps2 is it.

what's great about it:?great value for the new low price, games are cheap, easy set up what's not so great:?graphics are dated, sony isn't making as many new games "the sony ps2 is a classic gaming

braking the bank, so you will not have that prime-time-sucker feeling next time ms or sony slash console prices.i keep it in my bedroom and the only thing i dislike is that is not completely silent.

it would probably change the design and make it a bit more pricey...just a thought.all in all sony made a great console even better!
