this product is really good... the best thing about them for me is how easy to move the are and also how responesive the controls are to the game. i highly recomend this to anyone looking for a joystick and a throtel. from Amazon.com I bought this controller to use with light Smmuulator X. I didn't want to give him the first unit and I couldn't buy myself one at that time, however I finally bought mine. Installation in Windows XP was easy and painless. Finally had time to give it a spin and it is DOA. The 3 of the axis constantly jitter and fail to recenter when viewed in the control panel. Tested under XP and Vista with the same result. from Amazon.com Pros: As long as it lasts its a pretty good HOTAS for the price, nothing like CH of course but risk takers on a budget who don't plan to use it that much MAY find it acceptable if you are lucky and get one that lasts. The pros, however, are really not relevant as the QC and build quality is abysmal. Electronic faults, very poor tolerances (throttle rarely goes to 100, usually to 98 or 97 even with calibration), buttons start to fail much too quickly, and the rudder drift problem affects nearly 100 percent Saitek's x52 products pro and regular alike. Cons: I had one of these a long time ago as a review set and it gave out after a couple of months. from Newegg.com When I purchased my Flight Simulator Deluxe Edition, I chose to purchase these controls, as well. I wanted as real a feel as I could get with my gaming system. from Amazon.com This is a very classy and well-designed joystick, made of Plastic with some metal paneling, that is very slick and responsive. A warning, though, for those of you wishing to use it on Macs, the throttle does not work, only the buttons on it and the thumb slide control. Also, the mouse ha switch doesn't work on mac, but everything else does. from Amazon.com
