The Xbox 360 Live Vision Camera isn't fancy, but it gets the job done and its ability to be used with your PC is a great bonus. There aren't many titles that currently use a camera, but social games like 1 vs.
Pros: no software update necessary to install camera on xbox 360 Cons: Picture is grainy and colors are washed out. Does not work with the NXE dashboard for the 360 Other Thoughts: I now own 2 XBox Live Vision cameras, I purchased the first when they were first released and was able to use it on my original xbox 360 after one upgrade.
Pros: Works great on the 360 Cons: DO NOT GET IF YOU WANT TO USE IT ON THE PC. It just doesn't work right.
This webcam is truly plug and play with the Xbox 360 and my Windows Vista computer. The quality on this camera is amazing for the price.
This camera is good as a basic camera and comes with the Xbox 360 Live Vision Camera, a headset, and 1 month of Xbox Live Gold service. Quality of picture and video is adequate for casual social interaction and the camera is easy to install.
But no. It's a webcam. Given everything, I didn't even use it for a game. No sir, I did not buy it for my XBOX 360.
The inexpensive XBox 360 Live Vision camera is natively recognized by current versions of Mac OSX, without having to install any drivers: just plug it in, and you can immediately video conference using iChat, Skype, etc... Focus is manual (unlike the iSight, which has powered focusing and can be set to autofocus mode).
I actually do not use this webcam for XBOX. I have a MAC laptop that does not have a built in camera (its a Powerbook) and waned a Webcam.
Man I love this Vision Cam/Webcam I can see all my friends with it on Xbox Live. And it is also compatible with my PC and I don't need any special CD or driver when I install it I just hook it up to my computer and the computer reads it and it starts to play your live picture.
The first one I recieved wasnt working, not in the xbox or the PC. I just recieved the second one yesterday and it seems to work off and on.
