the only drawback is the noise and its blue color, but its a vacuum and i am only cleaning with it not decorating my house.
the reviews commented about the noise of the product.
others here have commented on the noise it makes, but honestly, i had a bissel canister (bagless) model before this, and this hoover sounds much more quiet.
on the flip side, the one thing that i could do without is its loud noise.
only minor drawback the vacume is noisey.
but for the most part, those things are very few and it actually goes everywhere except going down the stairs.noise is also low compared to your regular vacuum.
the noise is about equivalent to a small vacuum or small blow-dryer - not unpleasant, but you might want to let it clean rooms you aren't using.
1) hey, it's a vacuum and it makes some noise.
its a bit noisy, so we just run it when we leave the house or when the noise doesn't matter.
the scheduler adds a programmable timer so it can work at any time you specified (so you can program it to clean when you are away and avoid any of its remote-controlled toy car-like noise).
the noise level is in the midrange of vacuum cleaners, but you at least have the option of walking away from it.
the noise level is bearable (it is after all a robotic vacuum running on rechargeable batteries), though not as much as a regular vacuum.
so the problem with the last two was: one made this very unusual loud noise as if something is stuck in it.
also, although it isn't as loud as a normal vac, it makes a somewhat shrill mechanical noise that i prefer not to be around.
noise: i'm not going to say that this is a quiet machine, in that i've never heard a quiet vacuum cleaner, but it sure is quieter than my kenmore.
not super quiet, but a lot quieter than the old one - and the sound it makes speaks to quality - no odd noises, squeaks or such.
and the vacuum is still not having any strange problems with weird noises, belts getting worn improperly, or anything other initial problems i've had with my previous purchases.
also, it made this awful squealing noise when it was turned on or off.
pros: efficiency, price, suction, power, noise level (quiet) cons: weight (quite heavy) the bottom line: buy this vacuum if you like a clean house and an extra $200 in your bank account!
the only drawback is that i'll have to exchange mine since it makes a squeaking noise when i push it back and forth.
pros: the newer animal absolute dc17 costs $50 less than the ball cons: you pay $50 more for a ridiculously high pitch noise!
pros: cleaning results are great; husband likes using dyson and seeing results in bagless container cons: noise drives me crazy, hose retracts during tool use, tools come off during use the
cons: a little bit noisey.
pros: suction power, maneuverability, under 20 pounds, better than expected (lower) noise level.
in addition, dyson quick disconnect seals leak vacuum and power and add to the noise it makes.
the few things i don't care for about the vacuum are the horrendous noise it makes when you go over an uplifted section of carpet and on rugs.
we've had this thing for a year now and the only issue i can recall is that when we got it, and first turned it loose on our large area rugs that the vacuum made a very loud ratcheting noise.
the only thing i can say against it is that if you bump something hard with the vacuum while the brush is running you'll hear a grinding noise.
the dyson makes a horrible noise if it sucks a snag out of the rugs or if the nose of the vacuum hits something and pushed down.
it's easy to use, i don't think it's that heavy, the noise doesn't bother me b/c i set it and walk away, and my cats love to watch the brushes whirl around.
further, it can use more noise and vibration damping.
on the plus side, the feline who generally causes the device to be used doesn't particularly care for the noise it makes, and scampers off under the bed.
the noise is no more than a vacuum cleaner running, and the ease of use is incredible.
it made a weird noise, started smoking and then the brushes quit working.
the vacuum seems about right for noise and weight.
upon assembling the vacuum i discovered it made a high pitch squealing noise and spit dirt from an unknown location.
high-pitched noise.
noise level is fine, no filters to replace, the shape is the only one to get under my couch better, totally affordable, and works great.
noise level is quieter than my old hoover...
kinda noisy, but i dont mind the noise if it works.
- it doesn't make so much noise that you are scared of it.
however, i find the noise level bordering on deafening if i use it for more than 10 or 15 minutes.
a loud whirring noise followed by a bright flash from inside the yellow case and a puff of smoke.
i am pleased that the noise level is low, and the built in hose feature is excellent.
noise: not very loud.
i wore out 2 shop vac's (brand) in 3 yrs.this rigid has plenty of pwr, less noise and hard to tip over.my old vacs would blow out saw dust or fine powder.
lightweight and surprisingly low noise are two other great features.
at first, it sounded loud, but then the noise went down and it sounds like a wind tunnel.
* lastly, noise of my previous windtunnel was something akin to a jet taking off.
and have been very concerned about the noise.
bags, the noise level, etc.
the prime factors that led me to take the plunge for the fein turbo iii was its supposed lack of 'noise' and the auto-start feature.
only downside is that the dog hates the noise and leaves the room when i use it.
nothing to complain except its noise level.
a bit big, but it won't bother you at all and the noise factor is what you would probably expect from a 9.6 volter..
the only things that i have not liked are the weight (it is a tad heavy for long cleaning periods) and the noise factor (it is fairly loud and scares my toddler).
(no more relatively ineffective giant sticky tape rollers!!!!) about the noise - it's not louder than a regular vacuum so...my cats don't like it, but this thing works and worth their hiding in the
with that comes a pretty big punch when you turn it on and a lot of noise.
the only thing i don't like about it is that it is a little loud, but i guess with power comes a little extra noise.
the only negative about it is the noise - it's quite loud.
i got a little carried away on the steps with the flip utility and as i was moving left to right it made a pop noise and the flipping plastic piece broke off.
wear ear plugs if you don't like the noise (like a jet engine)!
it is slightly noiser than a dry vacuum so i wouldn't suggest you use it at midnight when the family is sleeping, but it is actually quieter than i expected it to be.
it's useless, other than to warm up the room more and add more noise.
no water, no solution, just noise.
-dogs still hates the noise!
summary: perfect for my home with hard wood floors and oriental carpets and rugs.i used to hurry my vacuuming chores to get it 'over with' because i couldn't stand the noise.
as far as the noise level...
the relative lack of noise is great though my cleaning person prefers the old electrolux with the power in the carpet cleaner nozzle.
we have mostly hardwood floors, but some reasonable carpet upstairs - the best thing about this vacuum is how quiet it is - i used to have to do the vacuuming when our 2 year old was out of the house
it makes very little noise and is easy to move about.
great product...fantastic suction power...little noise.
the other thing i was impressed with was the noise level.
as for the noise level...
i cannot believe the dirt this thing picked up right after i had used my old vaccuum!it started making a squealing noise the second time i used it, but i think it is caused by some hair getting
variable speed allows you to control how much tornado like suction you really need (and noise for that matter) but overall the machine is not too load considering its power.
the noise level isn't too bad - i wouldn't say it's the most quiet vacuum but i'm willing to handle a little bit of noise for a little more performance.
quieter sound--the dyson is not a whisper quiet machine; however, it makes a low, soft growling noise rather than a high piched, grating whine like my old bissell.
pros: excellent cleaning, low noise, easy manuevering, great tools, excellent customer support
low noise.
pros: suction power is best i've ever used, and one of the lowest noise levels.
less noise!
