the suction power isn't as strong as i had hoped, but it is a good vacuum for hard floors and quick pick-ups.

i flipped the vacuum over to remove the bottom part and discovered a cardboard plug in the suction hole, which explained why the unit wouldn't sit on the floor and wouldn't pick anything up.
