The first 5 times I used this product I loved it and it worked great. Next time I tried, I plugged it in and as it was heating up the steam released and it lost pressure. Red light came on and it never worked again. from Overstock.com Great item for the money. Wasn't sure it really worked until I accidently steamed myself and got a burn! Use it a few times a week so it remains in working condition. from Overstock.com Considering we use it daily, I'd say a pretty good investment. It is small and extremely portable...and the bottle is big enough that we usually don't run out of water (unless using it on all windows). I use it on marble counter tops (no streaks), glass cook top (again, no streaks and melts grease), in car, on windows (use 000 steel wool, one drop of dawn in bucket of water and then just steam to rinse and use a squeegie...no streaks and you DON'T use a million paper towels and a bottle of windex... AND one squirt blasts away those nasty bugs on the outside window sill and that gunk that builds up) If I sound like an advertisement for the company, please forgive me, but this is really a product that we use daily...and in many different areas. from Overstock.com This is a small cleaner, and performs reasonably well in small jobs. I use it to cut grease around my stove, clean the grout of my tile top kitchen table, clean bathroom fixtures, and occasionally to clean glass. It cuts through the soap scum on my glass shower door, but doesn't do much for hard water stains. Some of these jobs could perhaps be done more quickly with household cleaners, but the point of this product is to reduce the need for harsh chemicals, and it does that. from Overstock.com This product works okay. It was great for cleaning my oven hood, but as for grout (which I purchased it for), I get much better results just using a bleach-based product and letting it sit. Also, I had to wait for the steam to build up and be ready to squirt. I do have to say that it did work well at cleaning some very old tile which had soap build up on it. from Overstock.com I read all of the other reviews and this was just what I was expecting...for the money the purchase is a good value...it does an okay job and definately cuts down on the elbow grease! I didn't expect that it would stand up to really heavy duty cleaning and it doesn't...but for the money it is a good value and I would buy it again. If anything as my first steam cleaner it has shown me the benefits of cleaning with steam and has convienced me that some day it will be worth the investment to purchase an expensive machine. from Overstock.com I have two small children and I LOVE this product because the I dont have to use chemicles anymore. I've used this to steam my drapes and it works wonderful. Ive spent hours with harsh chemicles in my bathroom, and this steamer did the job in such a short time and with out the dangerous vapors. from Overstock.com I bought one and liked the way it worked, bought another to give to my mother and ended up keeping it because she said she'd never use it. Well I used mine all the time, put it away for a month without use and now the red light won't turn off, no steam will come out.
