yes, just look at the debris and dust bins inside roomba after every use, and you'll see how well this vacuum works.i purchased this vacuum for my wife to help keep the house clean.

look, here's the bottom line: roombas are a really good product in that they clean your floors (as opposed to you cleaning your floors) nicely, whether it be on wood, tile or carpet .

i'm trying to say is that especially if you have dogs with long coats or thick undercoats don't think this will pick up everything, but it does help out and i'm not running the big vacuum everyday .
