I currently have 2 large resevoir steamers and this smaller steamer. Owned one of these before but lent it out to a friend who broke it. from Overstock.com This is a great product. It has much more power than I had hoped for and cleans as promised. The steam lasts long enough to do my kitchen floor, entire bathroom with some left over. It's great for me because I have severe asthma ~ now I can clean and kill germs without harsh chemicals, It's a tad awkward at first with the cord and hoses but once you get used it, it's a breeze. from Overstock.com This portable steam cleaner was great but I only got to use it twice. It started leaking and was no longer useable. from Overstock.com I just filled it up and started cleaning. The reservoir looks little but it's not! Seemed like it took forever to use up the steam. It was definetely a lot easier to walk around with the steamer than having to tote all those cleaners and paper towels. from Overstock.com If you don't mind buying a new Shark every time you want to steam clean things around your house then go for it. Cons: simply doesn't work. VERY loud, gets hot, takes time to reheat or cool before refilling.

Are you expecting the old grease or crud just to vanish when you steam it? Sometimes you must use a little effort from the end of your arm after Shark steaming. from Target.com and it's like it was cemented on there. I read the manual again, which I did read from cover to cover when I got it, to see if it addressed this issue (it didn't), then I started reading that other people had this problem. I called customer service, which surprisingly answered right away, and was told that the manual explicitly states that the cap must not be left on the steamer, otherwise it gets cemented on there! I would have to spend about half of what I paid to get Shark to repair it. from Amazon.com I've had my steamer for 3 years and it works great.
