I am glad that I did not stop to pay attention to the negative review left by someone about this :Euro Pro Transformer Stick/Hand VacuumTo begin with, the price is very good and the workmanship excellent. [...] Should be able to buy filters in stores that sell Euro-pro items. from Target.com It's wonderful for walking around and getting the baseboards, the corners of the walls and ceilings. It has a short cord, but I use an extension cord and can travel everywhere. I do use it for my entire carpet area also between my weekly vacumning with my large upright. I just figure I'm getting a little work out when I'm pushing it on carpet. from Target.com Power cord length is ample, making it easy to get around a room. Can use nozzle to do corners and spot areas, and comes with two nozzle attachments (brush and a tapered nozzle) that fit securely onto the vacuum. Compact, efficient design can be used as an upright (with telescoping handle) or as a hand-held (with shoulder carry-strap). All this for $40! from Target.com Have had this vacuum for almost 8 months. We loved it as we have 3 german sheppherd dogs and 3 cats with laminate flooring throuhout the whole house. from Target.com As long as you don't expect it to replace your regular vacuum, it's pretty useful. The best use I've found for it is in my car. After I use the shop vac to clean the seats and carpets, I can use the small tools from the Euro-pro to get into those little crevices between the seats. I give it three stars because it only does a really good job on that single task. from Amazon.com This product works well for me (I have a very small one-level house) but getting the HEPA filters that go with it is harder than finding that needle in the haystack. You used to be able to get them at most retail stores--now, Euro-Pro won't even supply them to the vacuum specialty companies.
