It took less than 45 minutes for my carpets to completely dry because the catch basin (dirty water) was within a few tablespoons of the original hot water basin (clean water) when I started.

I've also read about it not having a handle for carrying...this is also incorrect...there is a notch on the front of the unit towards the top for carrying up stairs.
