I bought this product at walmart when it first came out I have some of the plastic hose pieces duct taped together and the brush end super glued where the end of the hose with brush end is. The rest has not had any problems. It has been the most used products I have and I also have been a bissell fan for a long time and have had lots of their products, usually until they wear out! You can only do so much with the limited samples that are included with the SpotBot (like 3 to 4 spots). from Walmart.com This has been a marriage saver. My older dog is having accidents, and this makes clean up soo much easier. Works great on pet stains, dirt, and "What is that?" Instead of using the cleaning solution that came with the product, we spray the carpet with a cleaning solution (like Resolve) then use the SpotBot. After two years of regular use, it no longer works independently (the brushes are not moving) but we definitely got our money's worth out of it... from Walmart.com I have used many carpet cleaning gadgets in the past with little or no success. I'm convinced that this is the last one I will need. I have found that you can successfully use a variety of cleaning solutions besides just the Bissell products. We have 8 cats so you can imagine the mess that they can make at times (the same as having 4 kids). from Walmart.com I never needed it and only use the machine itself with it's built in system to clean spots. I have found that on the really tough stains that the hand-held nozzle works the best to get the stains out...it also helps to pre-treat those stains first. I learned shortly after buying the Spotbot that it goes through ALOT of cleaning solution very quickly. After some time I figured out that I could get away with using HALF that amount and more water instead for equal cleaning ability. from Walmart.com It has cleaned up spilled red juice, tea, soda, dog and cat messes of any kind conceivable (ugh!), and just general spots that just miraculously showed up overnight as well as spots that somehow were hidden behind large pieces of furniture for quite a while (I don't move the couch to vaccuum as often as I should). I have 2 children, 1 granddaughter, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a husband who equally put this machine to the test quite often. One of my dogs recently had puppies and I anticipate a lot of puppy spots before they are housetrained, but I am not worried with my little handy SpotBot on duty!I would definitely buy this again if mine broke down. When I first bought it, it was more expensive than it is now and it was worth the money I paid for it even then! from Walmart.com I tried it on them just as a test. WOW!
