I thought I was a very good housekeeper but this just showed me that the grout in my floor tile was in need of additional attention. The product was easy and fun to use. I also tried it on my stove top and was amazed at how well it worked. I can't wait to try it on our barbeque. from Walmart.com I was concerned I may not get a quality product. It has been phenominal in the home use I purchased it for. I have used it to unwrinkle drapes and a bed skirt, "mop" my hardwood and tile floors, clean grout, mirrors, the kitchen couner and stove top, the tub, and remove a mystery spot on my living room carpet. I sort of went on a frenzy and steamed anything I came across! from Walmart.com I ended up having to use chemical to degrease the brushes and the rest of the stove. It is great for my wood and tile floor. It got stubborn stains off my hard wood floors in the kitchen that other cleaners required me to do a lot more work than the steamfast. My glass desk tops are sparkling clean as well. I wanted an all purpose steamer in the $89-125 range. from Amazon.com In the end, it was returned. Generally, you get what you pay for. In this case, I paid close to a $100 so I was expecting top notch performance. I ended up purchasing the 'Reliable T630', which is also sold through Amazon. from Amazon.com I use the steam spray to clean and polish all my stainless steel appliances in the kitchen (refrigerator, dish washer, double wall oven, hood). It's a great tool to wash sinks, faucets and areas surrounding the sink (which are hard to clean). I use it to clean counter tops as well. It also did a great job on storm window tracks, ceramic tile bathrooms and floors, toilets, faucets, and caulking, and all the other little corners I would have been scrubbing with a tooth brush. I left this one to mom and bought the SF-275 for myself - it holds more water. They both work great on wheels and buggy car grills too - and are environmentally safe. from Amazon.com I have owned and used steamers for several years. I purchased this to replace my older Delonghi Steam Clean Plus and here and overall found the unit produced consistent steam but lacking in pressure somewhat compared to my older model. I actually purchased the steam cleaner from a warehouse club and it had a very nice selection of accessories including an extension rod hanger that allows you to steam garments on a hanger extending from the top of the extension rod. Basically the steamer is the same as this model 275 in terms of boiler, wattage, basic design. from Amazon.com
