I have tried dirt devil and it just threw debris back onto my ankles this one is great - it will pick up from Target.com Our Cleaning Company Has About 7 Of These 1-2 For Each Crew And They Have Had NO Problem With This Vacuum, In Fact Our Clints Told Us It Does a Fantasic Job, We Also Have Dyson And Oreck Vacuum's We from Target.com I picked this up last week and tried it out right away. I could not believe the amount of dog hair this little thing picked up. Worked great on the hard wood and area rugs that we have. So much from Target.com
