Alright first, it is pricey, but what really matters is how well does it work? Like other Dysons this is great for people with allergies. It works great, the motorized brush makes a big difference and it will pick up a lot of dirt, hair, etc. from Amazon.com I was concerned about the battery cutting out after 6/10 minutes, but so far it hasn't been an issue. If anything, it makes me more efficient! No dilly-dallying allowed, I get right to what needs to be vacuumed and find I'm finished long before the battery discharges. This Dyson is expensive, but if you have a pet who sheds like crazy - you'll be very happy to have invested in this machine. from Amazon.com
