This is a really good product for the price. My desktop blew up last week because of some weird virus attack and I was frantic. from Buy.com I had been using Norton Internet Security for several years and had gotten very disgusted with their product because of it's poor customer service and the quality of the product has gone downhill. I did some research on the internet for a new product and came across Bitdefender Internet Security 2007 which was rated as 1 of the top 10 products for securing your computer. from Amazon.com I bought Bitdefender because I hate McAfee (which I have on my work laptop and which is constantly installing updates and which has the most incomprehensible UI I've ever seen... and I'm a software engineer) and don't like Norton much. from Amazon.com I purchased this product along with BitDefender Anti-Virus v10. However, I have not used this product as I have another very powerful internet security program which I am very happy with. from Amazon.com Hello All I did almost a month of research before jumping into this Internet solution. I was still a bit doubtfull even when I was providing my CC details while buying this product from Amazon. from Amazon.com I had to give it a 1 Star Rating because they didn't offer anything lower. As for the product alls I can say is the offer of 2 years coverage is a good sales tactic to get people to buy their lousy product. Heres what it did for my Deck Top and New Lap Top, it caused them to run so slow I could time their performance with a Sun Dial, the real pain was when I connected to the INTERNET or when it would let me because it protects the user so well that it perceives everything as a threat there for it locks you out of most of the web sites you try to access. from Amazon.com It never fully completes the virus scan, and allow many trojans, worms, and viruses to sneak in. It's also almost impossible to GET IT OFF THE COMPUTER (out of the registry). BitDefender has many many excellent options. It also scans the entire computer within a reasonable amount of time, services the comp. from Amazon.com I have used many brands of security software. For years I had Norton IS. from Amazon.com I have a good system running Vista with a 3g processor and 1g ram. When I installed Bitdefender(the Vista compatible version) my system slowed to a crawl. Windows mail (Vista version of Outlook Express) would open but not run. from Amazon.com Excellent antivirus. Before I purchased one, I did research to find the best rated antivirus of 2006. from Amazon.com
