i have a new silver imac and this matches it quite well.
this hub has been working flawlessly with my imac 24".
it has helped so much because i have an imac which only has 3 usb ports on the back of the machine.
the price is good and it look nice with my aluminum imac.
when i got my imac, most of my usb requiring things couldn't go on, since imacs only have 3 usb ports.
plugged it into my imac, plugged 3 usb externals into it, and viola!
i purchased this usb hub for my imac.
the d-link dub-h7 high speed usb 2.0 7-port hub worked as soon as i connected it to a usb 2.0 port on my imac.
previously i bought a very small portable iogear 4 port usb hub for a really good price to use with me imac, but couldn't use it because when i plugged it in, it ran really hot and that scared me.
it works great with my new aluminum imac.
all in all, i would 100% recommend this device to anybody shopping for a usb 2 hub....i do wish they came in all white to match the imac look, but i'll deal.

the included connecter is short for use with an imac because it was designed for use with a mini.

it can go under a monitor, imac, and so on.
decided instead to use it as expansion for the imacs and g4s around the office.
when i bought my new hp printer it said it was not network ready, but i thought that was fine since i had an airport extreme with my imac.

this works great for the back of an imac because it can swivel and tilt at an angle where it doesn't block other ports and not take up desk space.

purchased in december, 2007, this hub worked ok for about 7 months until it began causing hangs and slow-downs on an imac.

i got an external g-drive hd, old firewire ipod, and video cam connected to it, and everything is connected to the imac.
my imac only had one firewire port and, since i'm running a hard drive with it, i needed another port for use importing videos and stills through my firewire card reader.
this belkin hub does not support any of these on an intel imac with mac os x 10.5.5.
