Best UPS Systems Devices for Router

i use the surge only side of the ups for a laser printer and a netgear router.

lost a star for the very short cable they provide though, you can run your cable through this so it would have powersurge protection but the short cable is wayyy to short to reach to my router.

i have 3 computers, 1 monitor, a dsl modem/router, and a printer connected to it.

my router is also attached as is my back up hard drive.

our power went out yesterday and this ups kept my dual 2.3 ghz mac, 23" lcd hd cinema display, and router running for 25 minutes.

hooked up a large server and a monitor along with the modems and routers...

this works well and has my 52" lcd, dvr, atv and two routers plugged in, kept it all running for around 30 mins with no interruption during a recent outage.

other thoughts: i needed 3 of these for 2 pcs and for the network (router, switch, and nas) for a home biz.

i have my tower, lcd monitor, wireless router, modem, and a cordless phone connected to it.

this is my highest va unit so far, but only have a voip unit, router, network switch, and cable modem plugged into it.

every time i have a spike or power blip i have to reset my modem and router.

i have the wireless router and printer plugged into the the non-backup outlets.

however, on the ups are: two athlon xp1800 servers plus cable modem,router,switch,ata.

with my standard dell computer and 19 inch lcd, dsl modem and d-link wireless router connected,i get almost 30 minutes of run time with the 510 watt cyberpower ups.

at 35% load (1 pc, modem, router) backup will run for about 20 minutes.

this smaller one is for all the other peripherals - printer, all-in-one scanner/copier/fax, telephone base, router, etc.

does your power company keep wiping your modem and router settings by turning off the power (just for a little while) several times a week?

this unit is large enough to carry the load of two desktops, two printers, a scanner, a modem, and a router for nearly 10 min.

i have three of them (modem, router and external hard drive) - they all fit on the tripplite since it offers widely spaced outlets, but couldn't fit them into the cyberpower without extenders.
