Don't need this thing beeping to tell me that. Needs to have an option to turn off the alert either threw the software or a hardware option Other Thoughts: I have seen some people complaining about UPS's with com port connections rather than usb, but personaly I prefer com to usb for this type of device. First its making use of a too long unused port thats just wasting away on todays pc's, and second for a device thats never unplugged why waste a usb port? from Newegg.com Pros: perfect Cons: none from Newegg.com Had plenty of protected outlets. Has 10/100 ethernet protection in/out ports for protection of hardware. Cons: Missing a USB interface at the UPS unit. You'll either need to have a Serial Com Port on the motherboard or use and adapter from Serial to USB. from Newegg.com
