So I tried the disc, didn't work. Downloaded the version from CNET/ Downloads.com, still didn't work. So I can't run the power management utility that comes with this unit. I bought Tripp Lite because they have great solutions for my company, which I am responsible for upkeeping. from Newegg.com This is a very light UPS for its rated capacity, and you can probably guess why. It came nowhere near its specifications in my use, and with every power outage gave up after around 20 seconds, then giving an overload alert even with nothing plugged in (or with something small, e.g. from Amazon.com Downloaded the version from CNET/ Downloads.com, still didn't work.
