cyberpower makes excellent quality ups batteries.

the cyberpower was bought as a upgrade replacment.

cyberpower customer service seems very good -- i've had a few questions & concerns, and their support agents responded within a day & were helpful.

i'm very happy with every aspect of this item except one: the goofy looking, oversized cyberpower logo on both sides of the unit.

the well lit lcd on the front of the ups provides a wealth of information and cyberpower also provides the monitoring software to give the user any information about the ups that he needs.

i've not used cyberpower products before (i usually trust apc), so i was a bit hesitant to order these at the low price they were offered for.

the few questions i had before buying were answered very promptly by cyberpower's customer service.

it's *much* better than the belkin in every way but one: the belkin can tell the computer to hibernate in case of outage, while the cyberpower can only tell it to shutdown.

my research led my to the cyberpower and besides some minor complaints it's a great unit.

i'm not quite ready to nominate it for moma's permanent collection, but the cyberpower cp1000avrlcd does look a lot better than your average geekbox.

if you can put a desk top pc together (monitor, pc, keyboard, mouse, and speakers) adding the cyberpower ups is as easy.

also, i went on cyberpower's website to get infomation on the eventual replacement batteries - to my shock the company does not sell the replacements.
