this unit (joby gp1-m1en gorillapod gogo flexible tripod with suction cup & 2 adhesive clips) is not going to hold your slr camera; it really won't even hold any but the smallest digital cameras.

but this is definitely worth paying the extra money over a normal table-top tripod and it works great with the flip video camcorders as well!

it will support even older, heavier cameras and takes all the irritation of either propping a camera up on sticks and stones or using a mini-tripod which is not adaptable to many outdoor circumstances
