Might be a little too heavy for when I am camping but still plan on bringing it up when I go. Shouldn't bother me too much.
Very solid and comes with tools to tighten the legs and what not.
The 3 way head and removable center column have come in handy.

I love the many uses. I can place the lens low to the ground for a worms-eye view or raise it well above my head.
The three-way column helps to position the lens into areas like a flower garden when you cannot move the legs to get closer.
