The flip lock mechanism for the legs is easy to use and quick. I also bought the Bogen swivel/tilt head, which allows me to easily adjust the angle of the camera independent of the angle of the monopod. I used it recently on a trip to Arlington Cemetery. from Amazon.com The construction and over all look is all professional. Cam lock legs are easy to use and adjust on the fly. Weight is right in line for a professional grade monopod.
