Best Manfrotto Tripods for Equipment

i purchased the bogen/manfrotto 190xprob tripod legs in november, 2007, along with the 804rc2 3-way pan/tilt head and the 486rc2 compact ball head.i became used to heavy, bulky tripods in the 1970s

this is my first higher end tripod and i am impressed with the quality and attention to detail manfrotto has given this product.

i've used a lighter manfrotto tripod for many years and am very pleased with their product.

i paired these tripod legs with a bogen-manfrotto 486rc2 head, which goes well with it.

but the manfrotto 679b monopod was unique in that every review (15 of them) ranked this product with five stars.

it became quite clear that the bogen-manfrotto line was the best choice due to the rave reviews they receive.

i've been using this manfrotto 679b monopod for about three months and it is great!

the body/lens combo weighs about 4 pounds and the manfrotto mono/head combo handles it very well.

i had to return one of the $100 manfrotto tripods because it was not stable enough for my nikon d300, but this unit can handle it.

i use this tripod with the bogen-manfrotto 322rc2 horizontal grip action ball.

i also purchased a manfrotto 322rc ball head for the tripod and the combination is super.

after much deliberation, i chose to purchase the manfrotto 055xprob pro tripod legs from amazon, along with the manfrotto 486rc2 ball head with rc2 quick release.
